Welcome to The iFLG (The International Family Law Group) website

The International Family Law Group is a legal services practice looking after the interests of national and international families and children. Our team includes specialist accredited English lawyers, family and civil mediators, collaborative lawyers, arbitrators and Australian lawyers and mediators. We resolve our cases through a sensitive, pro active, settlement-focused and conciliatory approach.

We resolve the financial aspects of relationship breakdown for all families. This includes expertise in high net worth individuals with global and complex assets. We also look after the distinctive aspects of international families and expatriates, working closely with many lawyers abroad.

Our work includes international child abduction as well as all other national and international disputes involving children.

We have much experience in handling the media when it affects our clients, their children and their personal lives.

Please browse our website to learn more about our services. You will find a detailed information zone, a government approved child abduction questionnaire, as well as forumlae which can be used as a starting point for calculating fair financial settlements.

We have an emergency 24 hour child abduction snatch line.

The Legal 500 annual directory of law firms published in October 2007 included under the London family law section the following: “New firm The International Family Law Group enters the ranking as one to watch on the strength of the reputation of founding partner Ann Thomas who is chair of the resolution international committee. She works alongside consultant David Hodson, a family practitioner with a top-class reputation who is a deputy district judge at the Principal Registry”. Naturally we were delighted at this recognition by our peers and others in the family law profession, so soon after the practice started.
