THE INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF FAMILY LAWYER ORGANISATIONS (INFLO)

This is the home page of The International Network of Family Lawyer Organisations, known as INFLO.

It was launched in early March 2009 by way of an article in Jordan’s International Family Law magazine

The INFLO Network consists of national organisations representing practising family lawyers.

The INFLO Network will assist lawyers working together in international, cross-border cases. Lawyers in towns and cities now have access to their equivalents in other countries so they can better serve their clients in cross-border family law disputes.

A lawyer or a party to any family court proceedings wanting a lawyer in another country can now make contact with the family lawyers organisation in that country and be given a list of lawyers able to provide assistance and representation.

The attached document explains the INFLO Network, its purpose, its foundation, the other primary networks which exist and how national family lawyer organisations can better work together.

The attached list sets out the present organisations although it is hoped that more organisations will join and this can be updated and improved.

This website will set out the most up-to-date list.

The notes attached to the list are a fundamental part of the list and must be read before using the list.

If there are any organisations not included or organisations whose information needs updating, please let me know. Volunteers are sought for translations of the list, accompanying notes and the attached document. The list and accompanying notes can be reproduced in any printed or electronic form.
