The International Family Law Group LLP (iFLG) is proud to announce that partner Emma Nash has been shortlisted for the Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards in the category of ‘Commentator of the Year’.
Emma specialises in international divorce and children matters and is a regular incisive commentator in these areas across a wide range of legal and mainstream media. Emma has written extensively on iFLG's website and separately runs her own personal blog, Emma’s Family Law Blog, which is aimed at encouraging debate both within the profession and beyond. Emma was the only private family law practitioner referenced in the government’s recent response to the consultation on no fault divorce law reform.
Outside of legal media, Emma has regularly provided commentary for Sky News, giving live interviews in which, she has discussed various family law issues. As recently as Friday 30 August, she gave an interview regarding whether unmarried partners should be afforded the same legal protections as married partners. Emma has also spoken on BBC Radio Four Women’s Hour and has been quoted in the Independent in relation to the landmark case of Owens v Owens.

The winners of the LexisNexis Family Law Awards will be announced on Wednesday 27 November at The Ballroom, South Bank, London.
