Family Mediation

Exploring ways to resolve disputes

Mediation is an extremely useful means of resolving a wide range of family disputes including disputes regarding the arrangements for children and financial matters.

Denise Carter OBE heads the iFLG Mediation Service which offers specialist mediation in all cross border family/children cases.  We offer a specialist mediation service for parents/parties who are involved in 1980 Hague Convention/Child Abduction proceedings and relocation cases.  We recognise that such cases require a specialist mediation model and we are able to arrange mediation at short notice in order to comply with the Court timetable or other constraints.

Denise Carter OBE was the Director of Reunite, the world’s leading non-governmental organisation looking after the interests of abducted children, for 17 years and she has over 12 years experience of mediating high conflict children cases.  Legal Aid for family mediation is now provided to applicants in 1980 Hague Convention proceedings without any requirement to determine the applicant’s means/financial eligibility.  We have a mediation Legal Aid franchise with the Legal Aid Agency and can offer publicly funded mediation for our specialist child abduction/relocation mediation service.

Feel free to contact us if you have any queries regarding our specialist mediation service.

We would be happy to discuss any particular practical/logistical requirements and we are happy to conduct mediation via Skype.
